Jennifer's Week in Ocho Rios, Jamaica 2017

I was invited by Moon Palace to spend a week at the Grand Moon Palace Jamaica. The itinerary was designed to experience all the resort had to offer. During the week, I was treated to resort tours, sample wedding reception, and Ochi Rios excursions.

Grand Moon Palace Jamaica

Grand Moon Place Jamaica is newly renovated into a posh resort located steps from the heart of Ochi Rios markets. It is a fantastic resorts for families with kids of all ages. There is an expansive kids area including karakoe, games and its very own Dolphin Cove. Plenty of water activities such as flow rider, waterslides, sail boats and paddle boards. Amazing 24-hour room service menu, room stocked with alcohol, and chi products. 24 hour bistro for espressos, crepes, ice cream and cookies. Sushi made fresh in front of you, jerk chicken daily grill and two pizza shops. Largest spa in Jamaica and an excellent gym. This resort would be great for groups and kids. Minutes away from Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountain and Blue Hole.

Sandals Ochi

Sandals Ochi has a more lively hip vibe than most other Sandals locations. It is a larger resort with easy shuttle service to the Butler villages tucked away in the gardens. You can expect reggae bands by the pool area during the daytime. Just speak the secret password for old-fashioned cocktails and live entertainment in a retro speak easy lounge. There is a boardwalk around one part of the beach for lounging around in calmer waters. Lots of fun activities during the day and evenings.

Beaches Ocho Rios

This resort is great for families with young children. The staff caters to everyone, especially making it a fun enjoyable experience for the kids. There is a waterpark with slides, splash pads and lots of activities for the kids. The top verandah is the perfect romantic location for a wedding reception. The Greek Village has ocean front balconies opened to a boardwalk, very unique.
