Beaches Turks and Caicos – a resort for families, couples and friends

In 2014, Patrick spent 2 nights at Beaches Turks and Caicos as part of a Sandals/Beaches Megafam.  The resort truly delivers on its promise of offering something for everyone.  You have a choice of 4 distinct themed sections, Caribbean, French, Italian and Key West villages along with an amazing beach and a water park that any child would believe is their “wonderland”.  No matter if you are travelling with family, friends or just a couple looking to “escape”, you need to consider Beaches Turks and Caicos.

There is no other resort that offers you the choice of 4 Villages in one resort, 19 restaurants, 14 bars, 10 pools, 9 waterslides and 1 choo choo train.

The Beach

If you have been to the Caribbean on other vacations and thought you had seen the “bluest” water along with outstanding beaches, then you haven’t experienced Turks and Caicos.  As amazing as the resort is, I believe the beach and water is what sets this island apart from the other Caribbean islands.  Take advantage of Beaches water programs such as boats, kayaks, windsurfers, scuba diving, snorkel, catamaran and more to soak it all in.  And again, with a Beaches vacation, all the water sports/activities are included!

Pirates Island and Kids Camp

45,000 square feet full of high energy fun with 9 water slides, SurfStream surf simulator, lazy river, Pirate ship with water cannons and a kid’s only swim up bar.  Added to this area is the Xbox Centre with pool tables, foosball tables, lounge and of course some of the top Xbox games currently available as well as upcoming releases.  Many children and the “young at heart” spend most of their vacation time “riding the waves” in what many consider paradise.

And the best part…there’s no additional cost for Pirates Island or Xbox Centre!

Italian Village

Considered the “heart” of the resort, you find the Italian Village.  Dominated by the featured pool with a swim-up bar and 2nd level sunset tower.  Activity is the norm here as you find music playing throughout the day right along side the multiple dining options.  Many of the resort shops are found just steps away and will have you imagining strolling the cobblestone streets of a Mediterranean town.  The Cricket’s Pub is found here and comes to life in the evening as friends gather to recount the days stories over a refreshing beverage and light snacks.  For those looking to dance the night away, Liquid Nightclub is the spot to visit!

French Village

Discover a French twist on a Caribbean paradise.  Located towards the back of the resort, this section of the resort invokes the elegance of Versailles with chateau-style accommodations, formal gardens and romantic fountains.  Wander a  cypress-lined walkway full of restaurants, patisserie and al fresco cafes.  Just a short walk away you reach the “heart” of Beaches Turks and Caicos with the Italian Village and Pirate Island.

Caribbean Village

The original section of the resort where you find full gardens, many oceanfront views, 2 pools and Camp Sesame.  Palm trees sway from the ocean breeze creating a relaxing vibe as you enjoy the tranquility Turks and Caicos.  Staying in the Caribbean Village truly allows you to experience the “island” lifestyle.

Key West Village

The “newest” addition to the resort and brings the laid back lifestyle of Key West to Caribbean.  Here you will find accommodations ranging from suites to multi-bedroom private villas.  Travelling with a large family or a group of friends allows you to unwind with these outstanding accommodations that has you unwinding minutes after arriving.  Amazing ocean views are found at the dining venues and the infinity pool.
